A computer system has a main memory consisting of 1M 16-bit words.It also has a 4K word cache organized in the block set associative maner with 4 blocks per set and 64 words per block calculate tag,set,world field of address format .

From the given question , we can say main memory size =1MW
cache size = 4KW
4- way set associative // as it is given  4 blocks per set
Block size =64W
# lines= 4KW/64W =64
#sets = 64/4 =16

Block size = 64 W = 128 B //as 1W=2B

yes wo will be 6 bit and for set it should be 4 bits but m not getting the physical address size .

hoe to calculate this ?
