1.Candidate key is the column or group of columns of data self-qualifies as unique, a table can have multiple candidate keys and we can get all the attributes through Candidate Key

2. Primary key is the key which is used to identify the table, a table should have only one primary key. a primary key can be one of candidate keys. if you are assigning one column with primary key then it will create one auto index for that key. so primary key is unique.

3.Super key is combination of any other column with primary key

Doubt
1 year 6 months ago

for example :

create table test (id int primary key auto_increment,name varchar(20),joining_time Time);

now i have my table test, in that test i am trying to insert some values

insert into test (id,name,joining_time ) values (default,"randomuser","12:20:12 PM");

this query has an error that joining_date is in date format

so my doubt is can we insert time with AM/PM specifications in insert query

if we can't  please explain me why ?

i knew that we can retrieve
